THE VISION
Wave Pavilion reimagines the relationship between architecture and water. Positioned at the edge of Oslo's harbour, the building's undulating form echoes the movement of waves — a continuous surface that flows from ground to roof, creating public spaces that invite the city inside.
The design challenges traditional boundaries between interior and exterior, with a walkable roof that doubles as a public park and gathering space. Materials are drawn from the Norwegian landscape: raw concrete, weathering steel, and locally sourced timber create a palette that ages gracefully alongside the fjord.
